TSNA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Sueheir Al-Asmar- TSNA President

Hi! I’m Sueheir Al-Asmar, and I’m honored to serve as the President of the Tennessee Student Nurses Association. I’m currently a nursing student graduating in May 2026, and I’m passionate about advocating for patients, making sure people feel heard and cared for, and supporting my fellow nursing students as we grow and learn together. Outside of school, I love connecting with others, volunteering, and finding ways to make healthcare better for everyone. I believe in leading with empathy, kindness, and dedication, and I’m excited to help make a positive difference for nursing students and our communities.

Alana Bratton, TSNA Vice-President

My name is Alana Bratton, and I currently serve as the Vice President of the Tennessee Student Nurses Association (TSNA). I am a nursing student at Austin Peay State University, where I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and am on track to graduate in May 2026.

As Vice President, my primary goal is to encourage greater student involvement at the state level and foster stronger connections among nursing students across Tennessee. I truly believe that being heard, supported, and part of a community can make a meaningful difference during the challenging journey of nursing school.

I’m excited to work alongside Sueheir and the rest of the TSNA leadership team to help strengthen and grow our organization. Together, we hope to create opportunities for collaboration, support, and shared success among all student nurses in Tennessee.
